10 Daily Principles for success in Life
When we overcome our shortcomings and become better and more capable than before, then many experiences happen which make us realize the truth. As we start knowing our mind, we start realizing the truth and our thoughts automatically start moving in the right direction.
For this, we just need to work hard on ourselves like an athlete and make ourselves more capable than before, our thoughts will change automatically.
My friend once said to me everyone is really a baby wanting to be loved and grow .That mindset helps you adopt a certain generosity to everyone,an empathy even for the once who are in tantrums., spiteful and unhappy. My mum liked to say "People won't necessarily remember the things you say but they will certainly remember how you made them feel ."True dat.
One thing I've consistently noticed is that emotionally intelligent people inspire and motivate others , often leading by example . They are also driven by intrinsic goals and have a strong sense of purpose.
Cognitive empathy and emotional empathy are quite valuable resources for the human experience .Success demands sacrifice -what you give up today will shape what you rise to tomorrow
The person who we are becoming in 10 or 20 years later is different what we think and not have our same views , perspectives .If you accept the Idea that you're going to be a different person you are going to become.
You should be the curator of your future self. You should be the architect of architect of your future self. Most of us don't actually know that our future self are.You might be in charge of deciding who that person is going to be .You have to stay curious to explore yourself and practice humility and be brave to accept change.
The Emotional Intelligent is related to the brilliant power of our minds as responsive beings. It creates the reality of our desires and dreams . This incredible Power is inherent to us and it's insane the almost absolutely control we have to create the realities we want if we just take ownership of it.
Emotional intelligence is a resource allowing adaptability and problem solving solutions; an inner strength to be like water in life's ever changing currents and environments.
Emotional intelligence is not about how to control your emotions or suppress it..It is about how to deal with negatives intelligently. Or not to react with a unpleasant way.
Empathy is the fuel of human connection.Coping with crisis is often considered from the individual's perspective .We have a need to be in contact with each other. We easily sense togetherness with like minded people. We can also feel connected to people with whom we have shared a significant experience.
What should be taught is to have the right amount of empathy .You can have too little and too much . It's why temperance is a virtue .If you have too little you can't understand other people's perspectives if you have too much you are allowing yourself to be used by narcissists and psychopaths..
When you constantly put others ahead of yourself , which is what too much empathy leads to you ,you forget to love yourself .If you don't love yourself .No one else will
"It's not about managing your emotions , it's about managing your reaction to your emotions.Emotional maturity begins with little kinds of stuff like giving kinder words , admitting little wrongs, learning to say sorry , and please
The most frustrating thing ,is when you're in an argument with your partner ,and you're trying to pause and gather your thoughts (to avoid be hurtful)but they just don't let up and keep throwing emotional jabs.Keeping up your guard in that moment is so key.
Taking time to get to know how another feels, why they feel the way they do ,and what they are feeling ,life changing for not only us,not only another ,but for anyone that benefits may help others to change for the better as well, whether it is realized or not.
As an Indian with huge diversity we are having more empathy ,but current politics is destroying our empathy for their purpose
Success is not an achievement ,it's a state .This is mindset that builds unbreakable character.Choosing strength over suffering always.I've lost so much for doing good and the right thing but my faith is stronger than ever.
No matter what happens to you , don't let the circumstances ruin you.Stay true to yourself always. It's the only way to find peace and happiness.
I think that if you define success solely as reaching the end goal, empathy is detrimental to success. Achieving success without empathy and not caring about crushing anyone to reach the top is not the definition of success in my eyes. I define it as reaching your goals while being empathetic. This is sometimes a more challenging goal, but I think the two things go hand in hand, and without empathy, you can't truly achieve success.
Many of us have not been exposed to a high emotional IQ environment. When we are finding who we really are, it's truly important to accept the flaws we have as well.. Being human is never flawless.We.all have our shadows. That's why It's very important to accept all good and bad of us because they all make us who we really are
Following through builds confidence & deepens self -trust.Each step reinforce a strong positive self image .By keeping my promises to myself ,I prove that I am capable , resilient and trustworthy.Every accomplishment ,no matter how small ,deserves recognition .
Each choice we make can strengthen resilience , deepen self understanding ,& guide us toward growth
True growth is a balance kindness to yourself on the inside,& steady actions on the outside. Each small step shows you progress & brings you closer to the life you dream of.Every moment of self -compassion, every shift in perspective & every action builds your future..I 'm expressing exactly what I mean because I 've lived it,seen it, learned from it,& experienced enough to know this is true.
Your experience gives your words weight. It’s clear you didn’t just learn this in theory; you earned it. And that makes your message not just inspiring, but credible.
ReplyDeleteYes, you have understood me very well, and you have understood me deeply through my life experiences. Thank you.
DeleteMost people chase big breakthroughs, but you’re pointing to something far more powerful — the quiet, steady moments where you choose compassion, choose a new perspective, choose to keep moving. Those are the moments that actually build a future.
ReplyDeleteBe not afraid of going slowly ,be afraid only standing still.
DeleteDo you think empathy requires high IQ?
ReplyDeleteYou don't put emotions together with intelligence .But actually , it's being intelligent about emotions

ReplyDeleteHaving empathy in a world that is gradually been overtaken by vile and cruel people is very heart warming and goes a long to prove that empathy is a much needed trait in our day to day relation with other people.
ReplyDeleteEmpathy is the ability to understand someone's silence. Empathetic people are born with it., only few are gifted with it.
DeleteVery true

Delete“Achievement is for those who never quit.”
ReplyDeleteThis echoes my own belief that talent is the seed & work is the water.
It’s not about being extraordinary, it’s about being faithful. The mind is the true battleground
“95% of our daily actions are subconsciously controlled.”
This is why sanctuary living matters:
our environment, our rituals, our prayers, our litanies, they shape the subconscious currents Empathy & self‑compassion are engines of growth
“True growth is a balance: kindness on the inside, steady action on the outside.”
This is exactly the balance we’ve been cultivating:
mercy inward, courage outward.
4. Self‑worth is the turning point
“True self‑growth begins the moment we stop seeking our worth outside ourselves.”
This is spiritual truth as much as psychological truth.
Worth received from God becomes the foundation for every step forward.
5. Awareness of your gaps is not shame, it’s strategy
“Know your gaps, grow your strength.”
This is discernment, not self‑criticism.
It’s the same posture Moses had at the burning bush:
honest about his limitations, open to God’s equipping.
6. Planning is the architecture of success
“Every win begins with a plan.”
This is the sanctuary principle of intentionality:
clarity before action, preparation before pressure.
7. Continuous learning keeps the soul awake
This is our natural posture, curiosity, refinement, stewardship of the mind
I'm not an expert of have academic knowledge of psychology but came to some of these realizations myself. It is better to be brutally honest with yourself ,and accept your flaws ,than to live in Denial .I've done some introspection work and was surprised about the insight I've found . Your worst enemy is sometimes yourself and unfortunately ignorance is bliss.

DeleteThis really resonated with me, especially the idea that empathy needs balance, not excess. I like how you connect self-awareness, emotional intelligence, and responsibility for who we’re becoming, rather than treating empathy as something passive or soft. Growth as an active practice, with kindness but also boundaries, feels like an honest and grounded take. Thanks for sharing such a personal reflection.
DeleteThere is huge difference between caring for people and carrying on other people's problems. One is healthy . The other is unhealthy.Healthy boundaries are important.

ReplyDeleteGrowth mindset is a powerful concept in psychology that embraces challenges and optimizes performance by distancing identity from performance and focusing on effort and enjoyment in learning

DeleteThat's it. However, the problem is when you are too empathetic and people start taking advantage of you.
ReplyDeleteOftentimes they'd do that subconsciously just because they'd se you as 'offering' but no...
You shall be kind but I just lost my job for not having met my KPIs while helping others hit theirs.
Excellent information. Impressive and brilliant. Thank you for posting, Ritika.
ReplyDeleteGreat post and rich in information.Ritika Gupta
ReplyDeleteEmpathy is essential for human connection, requiring balance to prevent misunderstandings and self-neglect. It involves kindness, emotional management, and understanding others' feelings. In politically diverse contexts, such as India, empathy can be tested. Success includes achieving goals while respecting others. Personal growth through empathy embraces strengths and flaws, promotes self-trust, and acknowledges small achievements. A balanced approach to kindness and action fosters personal growth and fulfillment.
Most welcome thoughts these are on empathy
Empathy can be discovered within and put to good use with sufficient purity of mind but empathy cannot be taught . Empathy is experienced holistically using all 7 senses.
DeleteWhen you aren't just working for LinkedIn likes, but for the baby wanting to be loved within yourself and others, your energy becomes inexhaustible.
ReplyDeleteYes dear
ReplyDeleteRitika, your perspective on curating the future self through tempered empathy hits home; it’s a delicate calibration of our shared humanity that many overlook. I’ve found that treating self-evolution like an athletic discipline—where we architect our reactions rather than just absorbing the room’s energy—is what separates mere survival from true agency. It’s refreshing to hear someone champion temperance as a virtue, acknowledging that while empathy fuels connection, maintaining that internal boundary is the only way to stay resilient enough to actually lead.
ReplyDeleteMany times we,as empathetic , surprise ourselves when assessment or predictions come true, It's that innate ability to read people or situations with those empath sensitivities
DeleteThis is a beautiful reminder.
ReplyDeleteEmpathy isn’t softness it’s strength with awareness.
When you begin to see people as carrying unmet needs, fears, and hopes beneath their behaviour, something shifts internally. Reactivity lowers. Curiosity rises. Judgment softens.
That shift doesn’t just improve relationships it reshapes mindset.
Empathy increases self-awareness. And self-awareness is the gateway to growth.
Emotionally intelligent people don’t just manage emotions they understand them. In themselves first. Then in others.
And you’re right people rarely remember our arguments or advice. They remember how safe or seen they felt around us.
Empathy doesn’t weaken ambition.
It refines it.
Empathy leads to kindness which has powerful benefits on wellbeing, relationships and health. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteI think it’s awesome. The way that you articulate what empathy is and how it should look. I think the problem in the society is that we don’t take the time to value. Compassion and empathy has been important components in the building blocks of personal achievement and growth. We have to take in consideration everything that you have outlined so eloquently and apply them in the areas of our lives where we needed the most. This was an awesome take on people who may have empathy, but there are other things that contribute to the bigger picture! Awesome read!!💯
ReplyDeleteSelf compassion and self -acceptance are two of the most important things in life you can do for yourself.
DeletePowerful message
ReplyDeleteAuthenticity is strength, not rebellion.
When women lead from their natural perspective instead of imitation, they don’t compete, they expand the definition of leadership.
Growth begins the moment fear stops making our decisions.
Own your voice, own your flaws, and let your work speak louder than expectations.
The right people wouldn't be disappointed when you set your boundaries.,they will respect them.
