4 You Need To Work On Yourself
Choose self -growth
The self growth begins the moment you stop seeking your worth outside yourself. And When we value ourselves, growth stops feeling like a race and starts feeling like a journey.
To motivate oneself, it is important that one understands oneself well! One's abilities – physical, mental, intellectual, familial, social and economic, etc., one's capabilities and interests.
Self-centred , selfish , narcissistic and/or immature people consider taking care of own basic needs as selfish .. These type of people often blame shift .... They deflect their own responsibilities and push them onto others.
Along with setting goals, we must remain vigilant about these things: maintain a strong will to reach this goal at all costs. Maintain a positive mindset and convince ourselves that we can do it. And keep working tirelessly, without abandoning our goals.
5 Focus On Your Health
You are your number one priority. The best way to change the world and help others is to take great care of yourself.
Excercise is such a critical step start with 6 minutes every day and work up from there all the way to 40 minutes of consistent workout every day I promised your body will change
I'm 45 and have started exercising for the past month which has become my new hobby now as I want to keep myself fit and healthy and keep my mind fresh .
I've also started inco operating more nutrients foods into my diet and cut -,down on junk food
“My mother woke up at 5 a.m. every day to practice Tai Chi for an hour. She started in her 50s and continued for 28 years, until the age of 78, when atrophy in her legs stopped her. She lived until 82 without even taking a Panadol. This is living proof and my greatest inspiration.”
6 Take Chances
Fear of failure is so strong and common that it does not let the true and capable person come out.And that's the reason ,the world does not know about most amazing people.
Winners take risks because they understand that growth and success comes from stepping into unknown. They embrace uncertainty, knowing that the greatest reward is beyond the safety of comfort zone
Life is all about taking risks . If you never take a risk ,you'll never achieve your dreams and that's guaranteed .
7 Make self-improvement a daily habit.
I'm building myself silently .One day world will know
Ignore gossip . Other's are always watching and want what you have . Distance from negative people
Taking regular baby steps more important than single giant step . Regularly is must
Good habits help us function more efficiently. This shapes who we become in the long run. It patterns how we think about ourselves, others, and the world. What we do also shapes our identity, shaping our personality and temperament.
Habits make it possible for us to do things without expending excessive mental effort. They make everyday life possible—for better or worse. Mental habits are also important. For example, dwelling on disturbing thoughts is a habit that can lead to persistent worry. Habits are so powerful because they create neurological cravings.
8 Have A Goal
Break the goal down into parts ,so that you can move towards it and you have a fairly high probability of success
With most jobs you are working to fulfill the goals of someone else .If you have no goals to give yourself independence you will stay working for some one else.
I was never thought this so I was late learning this truth.
Set a deadline on your goals : Put your goals in writing . This makes them tangible and helps you commit to them ,as unwritten goals are merely wishes or fantasies
9 Don't look back
Eyes ahead
I regret not studying ,I regret mingling with the wrong people .I regret not appreciating someone who loved me .I regret being stupid ,I regret being a loser ,I regret living my teenage years with no sense of self awareness
The past is like a museum .You can revisit old memories but there is no redo. Whatever happened is written in stone .We have no right to alter the past .We must learn from our mistakes. That's all.
No need to go back .Move forward . Everything ,new opportunities will present themselves again and again.....Jump in.!
10 Set Your Standards Early
Raise Your Bar
If you aim unreasonably high and fail you don't hit the next best thing ,You just fail. Then you gotta start from square 1...Be realistic people
Champions don't look to cut corners .They look for what's right and finish what they started.
Don't resist the present moment .Give meaning to what's important and the rest is noise . Believe you have it now so play the game.
Some people says that women who is financially independent ,she is like a male or she is in the role of man. Why? Is only man is responsible for the finances ?I think it's not about gender equality or man and woman roles. No it's basic needs of human . It's a need to be financially independent , either it's a man and or a woman. No matter Even learning household chores is also a basic need of a human it shouldn't be gender basis. Think about it.
Your life,your rules
You are not born to just work work work , Live your life and enjoy with your family. Don't live like a machine only work work work ...the only difference between humans and robots is emotions .. Emotions with your parents .. with your loved ones
Self acceptance is a long journey self respecting is a long journey self love takes time and I realized that I was trying to love myself and accept myself and accept my reality but there was something stopping me from being the best version of my life and that was long less fear .Fears is known and fears is unknown
To me success is measured with satisfaction in life and that to a large degree links to balance and peace . Nothing wrong with wanting more but ask yourself
Conclusion
The strongest trees don't grow in the best soil. they grow in the strongest winds .So if you want to become the best version of yourself , start praying for some strong winds and don't complain when they show up
Own your journey. with all it's challenges .Draw strength from your roots, Where grit and determination are forged. Fear less , be fearless , and turn obstacles into opportunities . Give back ,pay it forward ,and raise your voice for others .Remember, your experiences , not titles or degrees, make you a great leader .You are enough and your story matters.
A women does not need permission to succeed. She only needs courage ,consistency ,and faith in herself- because she is her own strongest support

DeleteA meaningful reminder. Sustainable success balances ambition with emotional connection and self-awareness. Growth requires courage to confront fear, patience to practice self-respect, and conviction to pursue one’s vision. True achievement includes both professional excellence and personal fulfilment. Very well written!
ReplyDeleteSuccess doesn't mean only to achieve ,but to achieve and be satisfied...... maybe this is your real success
DeleteThis is a beautifully resonant piece that speaks directly to the heart of what it means to reclaim one's own narrative. Your perspective on self-reliance—the idea that "behind every successful woman is herself"—is a powerful shift from the traditional tropes of external support, placing the agency exactly where it belongs: in our own hands. I found your emphasis on the "athlete-like" discipline of self-work particularly striking; it reframes personal growth not as a vague destination, but as a rigorous, daily practice of habit-building and mental resilience. Your point about high-value traits extending beyond surface-level beauty is a vital reminder in today's world, and I personally relate to your journey of realizing that the power to shape the future isn't something we wait for, but something we execute through every "millisecond" of choice. By embracing failure as a teacher and prioritizing holistic health—much like your mother’s inspiring Tai Chi practice—you’ve laid out a roadmap that is both grounded and aspirational. It is clear that you aren't just writing about success; you are living the evolution of it.

Very well written and good advise Ritika.
DeleteDiscipline isn't just something that you build , It's something you. maintain with habits . Discipline gives us the very ingredients needed to achieve great things and patience is a big part of that.Don't practice what you don't want to become , know this and live by it.A person without discipline is a person full of reaction., rather than a person of good actions.
DeleteYou should write a blog on the book your wrote
ReplyDeleteThanks for the wonderful advice
DeleteTrue growth isn’t about external success; it’s the relentless pursuit of inner transformation, where we break our own limits and embrace failure as fuel. Self-awareness is the foundation, and when we take ownership of our journey, we stop waiting for permission to be our best. Every challenge is an opportunity to build a stronger, truer version of ourselves.

ReplyDeleteSuch an empowering read! I love the message that a woman's greatest strength comes from within. Thank you for sharing these inspiring words.
ReplyDeleteOne of my strength is to be always being grateful . With the help of it,I am able to adjust in any situation .And it matters ,as it makes me happy.
DeleteDear Ritika,
ReplyDeleteYour blog masterfully weaves timeless wisdom on self-mastery with vivid, motivational imagery, echoing the profound truth that true success blooms from within like trees forged in fierce winds. The progression from empathy and failure as teachers to daily habits and fearless risks forms a compelling blueprint for women charting their own destinies, grounded in quotes like Jim Rohn's that resonate deeply.
I commend the raw authenticity in personal anecdotes (e.g., your mother's Tai Chi) that elevate platitudes into lived testimony; consider tightening grammar in spots like "Research have shown" to "Research shows" for polish, and varying sentence lengths for rhythmic flow to amplify impact. This isn't mere advice it's a clarion call to inner strength. Brava! 👏🙏
Warmly,

Risk is the only component which drives you to cross your limits and this effort makes a big difference.
DeleteComparing with ourselves is the most important take away for me. We have no idea what is going on in other people's lives, and the most important person in our life is ourselves.
ReplyDeleteComparing to others is the fastest way to depressing , unfortunately ,Live your life and enjoy it.Make your plans, listen to yourself
DeleteBehind every successful woman…
ReplyDeleteThere isn’t luck.
There isn’t magic.
There isn’t rescue.
There is regulation.
There is resilience.
There is self-belief built quietly over time.
And that matters.
“Every word of yours is beautiful when it speaks about a woman.”
DeleteBeautifully said.
ReplyDeleteWhat stands out to me is how much of success is internal work — self-awareness, standards, health, habits. The world often celebrates outcomes, but the real transformation happens in private.
“Me vs. Me” is such a powerful mindset. When growth becomes personal instead of comparative, confidence becomes sustainable.
Thank you for putting this into words.
Jacopo
Focus on yourself instead of others.Focusing on yourself makes you improve yourself more than focusing on everyone else.
DeleteWhen we stop reshaping ourself to fit expectations, we stop shrinking. We stop performing. We stop filtering our essence to make others comfortable.
ReplyDeleteYes agree with you. We're all so busy chasing the approval of others that we forget to approve of ourselves.
DeleteLove this post that serves as a kind reminder that there is that self belief and there is that need to be aware there will be failures in life but from that failure, we will grow :) to be better versions of us. But to fail seems be non acceptable since we all grew up being taught that there is that right way, right answers.
ReplyDeleteYou yourself are responsible for the failure. If you don’t quit than the chances of succeeding increases and no failure can ever touch you.
DeleteYou're inner vision creates a glow that radiates outwards. Outstanding insights. I look forward to any collaboration you would like to engage in.

DeleteThis is such a heartfelt and honest piece — I especially loved the story about your mother and her Tai Chi practice. That image of 28 years of quiet discipline says everything. Thank you for sharing your journey so openly. Rooting for you! 🌿
ReplyDeleteThanks for the blessings .I pray the same for you as well.
DeleteThis is such an empowering read, and I completely agree that success is deeply personal—it’s about defining your own path rather than following a predefined mold. To me, the ultimate formula for a successful woman involves cultivating unshakable self-belief, investing in continuous learning, and having the courage to set firm boundaries, especially in demanding environments. True success is rarely overnight; it is the result of passion, consistent effort, and the resilience to turn setbacks into stepping stones. Surround yourself with a tribe that uplifts you, and never forget that caring for your mental and physical well-being is not a luxury, but a necessity for long-term growth. Thank you for this inspiration!"
ReplyDeleteIt's always worth investing in oneself, energy of ideas in mind never takes you off-track and instead makes you rise and shine.
