Laziness: The Silent Dream Killer That Holds You Back From Success
What Are the Whispers of the Universe?
The universe speaks
Have you ever felt that some event happened suddenly, but behind it some invisible force was working? Or a thought came to your mind, and a few moments later, someone else said the very same thing? Or someone said something exactly when you needed it the most — if so, understand that this is not merely a coincidence, but the universe's dialogue, meaning it's a cosmic conversation.
Have you ever thought that the universe is constantly sending us signals, but we often fail to notice them? Paramhansa Yogananda spoke often about how when a person's heart becomes still and sincere, the universe begins to show them the way forward. He also emphasized that the very first thought of your morning can shape the direction of your entire day. If you start your day by saying, "Today is bringing something meaningful for me, and I'm open to whatever good comes my way," you create a mindset that naturally invites more positivity into your day.
This isn't magic — it's simply the energy of your thoughts at work. When your mind is calm and hopeful, you tend to notice opportunities more clearly, respond to challenges with more patience, and carry a sense of peace through the day. That inner energy doesn't guarantee everything will go exactly as planned, but it does tend to fill your day with more clarity, resilience, and quiet joy.

Why We Often Ignore the Signs Around Us
Don't ignore the signs
Hey friends, when something good is about to happen in our life, we get certain signals. But the irony for most people is that they think it's the universe/God being unfair to them. But actually, divine signals tell you that you're about to create something big in your life. The biggest signal of all is roadblocks — when your work suddenly comes to a halt while things are moving along.
The same thing happened to me — after 12th, I took admission in B.Sc, but then something happened that disturbed me so much that I couldn't understand anything. Then I left the science stream, took up arts, and did mass communication, and today I am happy and successful in my life.
Another sign from the universe is surrender. When you've put in your full effort and completed your work, you stop worrying about the result. You hand over your work to that universal power you believe in, the one you have faith in. And trust me, the result always turns out good.
The Power of Intuition and Inner Guidance
Sometimes sit with yourself and observe what kind of thoughts are running through your mind. At times you're thinking about yourself, at times about your relationships, your needs, at times about your boss, at times about your job, at times about business, at times about this world — we're always thinking about something. And whatever inspiration arises from this working of the mind.
Ask yourself about that — this voice of conscience that is coming to me, this voice that is arising within me — is it arising out of fear, or is it arising out of truth?
Emperor Ashoka of India, who listened to the voice of his conscience, is very famous. He was a very brave warrior and won many wars. But after the war of Kalinga, when he saw the corpses on the battlefield, his heart suddenly transformed. He gave up violence and adopted Buddhism.
How Gratitude Strengthens Your Connection with the Universe
Gratitude Opens doors
When we say thank you to the universe, it isn't just a word — it is a deep spiritual dialogue with the force that dwells in every particle, that gives light to every morning and fills every night with moonlight. It is this same universe that listens to our desires, converses with our energy, and silently returns the fruits of our actions.
"Friends, if you want to truly understand the feeling of gratitude, read Rhonda Byrne's book 'The Magic' — I watched a podcast about it. The book outlines a 28-day routine for practicing gratitude in daily life so you can become successful.
Also, America's highly successful woman, Oprah Winfrey, has spoken about keeping a gratitude journal. Her early life was full of struggles, but she wrote in her gratitude journal every morning first thing, and today she is counted among America's most successful women."
Recognizing Synchronicities in Everyday Life
Every signs tells a story
You don't fail at the Law of Attraction because you're thinking wrong — you fail because when you want something, when you desire something, the very moment you desired it, you sent a vibration to the universe, a frequency that says, 'I don't have this.' The desire for something is actually a vibration of lack — meaning that in that moment, you're feeling poor/lacking
Our thoughts and our energy carry a vibration. When we bring them alive at the frequency of abundance, we receive abundance in life. Your thoughts and your energy work like a magnet — as you think, similar results and people will appear before you
At the age of 23, an American chiropractor, Dr. Joe Dispenza, was in a cycling accident in which he broke 6 vertebrae in his spine. Doctors told him he would be paralyzed without surgery. He refused the surgery and tried to heal his spine with his mind instead. According to him, he was walking again within 10 weeks and back at work within 12 weeks — without surgery. This is considered a famous example of the power of positive thoughts.
Silence: The Best Way to Hear the Universe
Silence brings clarity
Friends, when you look at this universe, you only see stars and planets in the sky — but the truth runs far deeper than that. The universe's existence is not merely physical matter; it is a living consciousness that is watching you, feeling you, every single moment.
You may have often heard that the universe listens — but this is no imagination; it is an experience that can be felt. For this, the mind must be calm. The only difference is that people do ask the universe for things, but they don't ask in the right way.
I believe sitting in silence — meditation — is about listening to the voice within. It is the state where there is no desire for any goal; that goallessness, that stillness of mind, is meditation. Meditation is the complete acceptance of existence, with nothing lacking, nothing to improve, no effort needed. As Osho says, meditation is not a doing but a state of being — where effort drops away, meditation happens on its own, effortless and causeless.

How Fear and Negativity Block Positive Energy
Fear blocks light within
Most people cripple themselves out of fear of suffering. "What if this happens to me?" — this question keeps circling in their mind. Until one assurance enters your life — that no matter what happens, I will remain the same — you won't be able to explore life to its fullest peak. If something happens, it shouldn't matter; if it doesn't happen, that shouldn't matter either — only then can you explore every dimension of life freely.
The first and most essential thing is your own way of being — one that doesn't depend on what's around you. The day this dimension becomes part of your life, the fear of suffering no longer remains. Once the fear of "what if I end up suffering" disappears, you'll try to live this life in all its dimensions without any hesitation.
J.K. Rowling is a great example of rising above negativity to find success. After her divorce, as a single mother, she went through deep mental distress. During this time, she wrote Harry Potter in a café, and it was rejected over 12 times. Eventually, a publisher took it on, and today it stands as one of the most successful book series in the world.
Trust the Timing of the Universe
The universe speaks
Sometimes it feels like every path has suddenly closed, like whatever you try just comes to a halt — as if the universe itself won't let you move forward. But the truth is, the universe is never against you. It only closes the paths that don't align with your destiny.
Sometimes stopping, falling, or breaking isn't a punishment — it's a sign that direction is changing. Your only job is to keep your faith intact, because what's stopping you right now isn't holding you back — it's leading you somewhere else.
So in this moment, even if everything feels wrong, remember — the universe never closes a path. It's guiding you toward the right one.I've been writing blogs for quite a while now, and my work is getting recognized — a large audience genuinely likes my blogs but the earnings just aren't coming through yet. Maybe everything is happening according to the universe's timing, and I'm waiting for the right moment too.
Simple Daily Practices to Stay Aligned with the Universe
Align daily. Grow naturally.
Do you also want to know how the universe fulfills your every wish? So here are a few important things that can help you align with the universe, and the universe will listen to you. First — creation is a miracle. Whatever you give to it will come back to you a thousandfold. So if you help someone in need, the universe will open up paths of help for you too, somewhere or the other.
At any point during the day, sit quietly, close your eyes, and imagine that the thing you desire has already come to you. Feel that emotion as if it's already true. Third — whatever you wish to receive, thank the universe for it in advance, as if you've already received it.
"Being aligned with the universe means finding your own god — you can believe in any higher power. During meditation in solitude, you have to remember them. For instance, I believe in Lord Krishna, and every morning I sit in silence for a little while. I place all my worries and all my needs before him and trust me, a solution always comes.
Listen to the Whispers Before They Become Life's Lessons
Listen before life gets louder
Have you ever, in some quiet moment of the night, asked yourself why we came into this world? Is the purpose of our life really just this — that we study, get a job, earn money, and die? If that's true, then why does emptiness remain even after having everything? Why does it feel like something in life is incomplete?
What if you found out the true purpose of your soul — would you keep living the same way you have been living? Probably not. When a person discovers the reason for their existence, their thinking changes, and their decisions change too.
Take Buddha's example. A prince who had every comfort, yet felt a restlessness inside, as if something were incomplete. That restlessness led him to leave the palace for the forest. After years of penance, under the Bodhi tree, he attained enlightenment — and realized his birth had a greater purpose, one he later fulfilled.
Conclusion
In the end, I just want to say this — the universe keeps giving us signs, again and again. If we're aligned with the universe at the right frequency, then the universe's signals work in our favor. Like sometimes, someone tells you about an idea that later turns out to be successful, and you think — oh, I had that same idea in my mind too, I wish I had worked on it properly. It means the universe did give you the signal, but because you weren't aligned right, that idea didn't feel right to you at the time.
If you ask the universe a question, the universe definitely gives you an answer — but you don't need to chase after it. Wake up in the morning and meditate, calm your mind, turn your attention away from external things, recognize your feelings, feel what the universe wants to tell you — your own inner instinct will give you the answer.

ReplyDeleteThought-provoking and elegantly expressed. The idea that the universe communicates through subtle signals is a powerful reminder to stay mindful and aware.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely .I often experience these signs..And I feel confident.Blessed be every soul
DeleteActing on intuition is unique, can build a noteworthy brand, and make privately held thoughts become our reality when we remain true to our ideals.
ReplyDeleteOur intuition is also a doorway to protect us and guide us towards healing past experience. But we must trust the information and the process so we can heal and grow and expand
DeleteVery nicely written Ritika. When you manifest and communicate to the universe, it creates a positive environment and leads to self realisation that helps you see things clearly.
ReplyDeleteThe currency of the universe is gratitude .Be grateful for everything you have, and the universe will provide
DeleteBeautifully written and deeply resonant. The way you connect the mystery of the universe, faith in God, and the courage to take a leap of faith is powerful and grounding. ReplyDeleteWelcome
DeleteThis is a beautiful article. I align with this as I am ina constant place of surrender to God's timing.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely beautiful my friend.
You have surrendered to God and trust in His timing. God will work out everything good for you in life.
DeleteYou have surrendered to God and trust in His timing. God will work out everything good for you in life.
DeleteWhen your consciousness rises, the world stops being random
ReplyDeleteIt’s not that the universe suddenly starts “sending” signs.
It’s that you finally become quiet enough, awake enough, aligned enough to notice what was always there.
Intuition isn’t magic, It’s clarity.
& clarity makes patterns visible that were invisible before.
The nudge before the shift
The signs are subtle at first, A restlessness, A misalignment.
A sense that the old room is too small for who you’re becoming.
If you ignore the whispers, life raises the volume.
Not as punishment, but as guidance.
You don’t trip over the furniture because the universe is cruel.
You trip because you’ve outgrown the room.
The “message” isn’t external, it’s internal truth surfacing
This is the line that hits with the deepest resonance:
“The universe isn’t sending you a message… it’s showing you an echo of a decision your soul has already made.”
Exactly. The signs don’t tell you what to do.
They confirm what you already know.
The shift begins inside. Reality rearranges itself afterward.
When the old life falls apart, it’s not destruction, it’s clearing
You’re not losing anything essential.
You’re shedding what can’t follow you into the next season.
Old patterns break. Old identities loosen. Old attachments dissolve.
Not because you failed, but because you’re being prepared.
Space is being made.
Capacity is being expanded.
Blessings need room to land.
Those who have a good self awareness will get a "strong institution "about imminent opportunity /danger//risk and if they prepare well in advance they prepare well in advance , they reap the benefits or avoid ill-effects.
DeletePowerful as always!
ReplyDeleteGod bless you
ReplyDeleteAwesome words
ReplyDeleteGreat insights Ritika!

DeleteWhat stood out for me is the the faith over fear. When we choose to progress with faith no matter the fear of the unknown, it always bring good results.
ReplyDeleteFear and excitement might trigger similar reactions ,but they feel nothing alike excitement lifts you up -fear drops a heavy pit of dread in your chest .The body may echo the same signals, but the emotional experience is completely different
DeleteWhat an uplifting and empowering message filled with hope, trust, resilience, and faith. I love your strong conviction in faith and community, emphasising trust in the transformative power of GOD. As you beautifully articulate, God is the fundamental substratum underlying everything that exists, guiding and sustaining all of creation with unwavering authority and love.
ReplyDeleteSometimes we need to tell ourselves what to think when our mind starts telling us things that we don't need to hear that you can and will overcome and succeed ,and not just in spite of ,but precisely because of . With the proper perspective and a positive attitude ,we have power.
DeleteLove your message about how ... really how ... the universe keeps giving us signs, again and again. If we're aligned with the universe at the right frequency, then the universe's signals work in our favor. Like sometimes, someone tells you about an idea that later turns out to be successful, and you think (Thank You) Ryan Moeller
ReplyDeleteYes, Rayan, but to recognize the signs from the universe, we need to align ourselves with its frequency. To do that, we must find peace both within ourselves and in the midst of this noisy world around us. As long as our minds are not calm, it becomes difficult to truly connect with that Supreme Power.
DeleteSuch a beautiful take on life's timing.
ReplyDeleteThanks dear
DeleteI enjoyed the way this piece encourages us to slow down and pay attention to the subtle signals life gives us.
ReplyDeleteYes, we receive small signs in life that can help us make our lives better. However, to recognize those signs, our mind needs to be calm and peaceful.
DeleteBeautifully written the hidden facts of enegies of Universe. How it responds to our gratitude, our quiet talk and shapes our destiny full of abundance, harmony and peace.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much! I'm glad you liked my article. Our voice is heard by the universe only when we are truly calm. When we express our thoughts to the universe in moments of deep silence, it listens to us, and in its own way, it always responds
DeleteGratitude Opens Doors... Too True
ReplyDeleteYes, when we express gratitude towards that supreme power, it gives us more opportunities to say thank you.
DeleteNice article, Ritika. As a black belt in Japanese Jiu Jitsu, I have often explored the mindset of the Samurai. In their philosophy of Bushido ("The Way of the Warrior"), true mastery and honour begins from within. Before a warrior can successfully navigate conflict in the outside world, they must first conquer their own internal battles. While Bushido provided the external ethical and moral rules, Zen Buddhism and other spiritual traditions provided the internal psychological training through meditation. For a samurai, meditation was not about relaxation; it was a rigorous discipline designed to eliminate fear, heighten situational awareness, and prepare the mind for life-or-death combat. Modern society is too fixated on instant gratification.
ReplyDeleteYou shared your experience with me, thank you very much. As I have mentioned in the blog, Lord Buddha did hard meditation, as his mind was very disturbed by the outside world. Whatever knowledge he gained through meditation, he experienced that if a person conquers his inner mind, then external circumstances cannot harm him.
DeleteGratitude before the outcome works not because it summons anything external, it works because it's the only mental state where you keep acting instead of bracing. Bracing prepares you for loss, gratitude keeps you moving toward the thing you're bracing against, that's the entire mechanism hiding inside a spiritual practice.
ReplyDelete"According to me, to practice gratitude, we have to bring our mind to a state of genuine thankfulness. If we practice gratitude for just 5 minutes but let passive, unconscious thoughts run the rest of the day, gratitude will never truly work. But if we thank the universe wholeheartedly for what we already have, the universe gives us more opportunities to say thank you.
DeleteVery thoughtful blog on establishing flow and balance in one's life. I like to be aware of tensions that arise in work/personal life which can lead
ReplyDeleteto low vibration.
There are often competing goals and underlying assumptions which need greater awareness so that we can navigate successfully.

Thank you.
"Yes, we need to be conscious in our lives — we should identify the reasons that reduce our positive energy and increase negative energy. We should stay away from negative people and promote creativity."
DeleteI think there's an interesting distinction between the universe changing for us and our perception changing because of the mindset we choose. Gratitude doesn't necessarily alter reality, but it often changes what we notice, how we interpret events, and the actions we take. Those small shifts can compound into very different outcomes over time. Regardless of the mechanism, starting the day with intention is hard to argue against.
ReplyDeleteYes, we can bring about big change in life through small changes. Positivity is necessary in every situation. When we stay positive, our life too will become positive. And yes, I have observed that gratitude has brought about a big change in the lives of many successful people."
DeleteI always believed there is a lesson in every experience, good or bad. It's easy to ignore them and move on with life but if you do analyze them, you will attract more of what you want.
