 Since doing a ten minutes meditation practice every day  for a year I can see several benefits .Less emotional reactivity ,more space and distance from thoughts and stories about myself.This  has lead me to be more engaged in my life.  I'm not a psychologist , but our mind are prone to confirmation bias ,I feel , through my experience .I could be wrong ,but I feel when  we are in a negative space ,we start reviewing  negative experiences  in our heads and reading negativity in everything.What is funny is, when we are in good mood ,even negative things appear to be  inconsequential  and we laugh them off.
