Your Energy Is Expensive: Stop Giving It to the Wrong People
People with a fixed mindset show the greatest brain activity when getting confirmation of their abilities, such as a good grade. If you believe you are naturally good at something you won't progress
Those with a growth mindset acknowledge their weakness and see them as an opportunity to improve. They frame it in a positive light .By constantly searching for ways to improve and accepting their inadequacies they rise to greater heights than those with a fixed mindset
You may or may not be gifted but if you see yourself as nothing special and always aim to improve you will reach your full potential which will likely be higher than that of those generally perceived to be "special".
Your mind is at the centre of your Universe. Everything in your life rotates around your mind State .
There's a reason why the personal development field is so much about mindset, beliefs ,ideas , attitude and so on.... Science seems to be finally catching up.Mind effects body.Body affects mind. The external world affects our internal world and vise versa
I remember when I shifted my whole routine and mindset in college .I started Journaling meditating and writing down my gratitudes . That shifted my whole mindset .I felt like my mind was way more optimistic .A change in mindset changes everything.
Thoughts are a microcosm of creation. They can be followed and manifested or disregarded and left to fade back into where they can come from .Much in the same way as material things come into form and later melt back to their roots or how sounds disappear back into silence.Watch your thoughts and don't give any attention to negative once. When you find yourself and grow that by staying in the Heart., you'll know good thoughts from bad.
We take ourselves for granted in fact we are amazingly more powerful than we think
When I decided to monitor and control my beliefs and thoughts ,to resist /reject negative , depressing , destructive once and to embrace positive , constructive , uplifting once,my life began to gradually improve.
People with a fixed mindset worry the most while those with a growth mindset focus on learning. That fixed mindset thing is exactly me.I never understood why I couldn't bring myself to achieve anything. if I didn't get it right ,and to be honest it always bothered me.But this makes sense ,and I am going to start working on it.
I always thought I had a growth mindset ,but the truth is I was stuck in the same patterns for years. Overthinking avoiding hard tasks , telling myself I'd fix it later.
A fixed mindset is a survival method for people whose parents/ guardians are quick to punish for even small things like mistakes and accidents or even punish when they fail the first time trying something. It's not a healthy mindset.,but in those environments it's what is needed to avoid pain
Your beliefs influence your emotions , your emotions ifluence your actions ,and your actions influence your results.
I changed and dropped so many beliefs that were embedded in my brain by my parents.. Once I grew up and had a good understanding of the world I realized a lot of those beliefs didn't serve me They held me back. instead.! So I dropped so many of them .I'm building my new system myself
We are not just meant to survive in this world,we are meant to thrive. The power of your subconscious mind is just incredible .It can make you accomplish great things in life
A very simple, but effective way, is to become aware of your negative thoughts. And any time you do, simply say: “Cancel, cancel, cancel”. The thought will not have the negative impact anymore. After that you can reach for a better thought, which could be as simple as: “What a beautiful tree over there, I really like it”, or something like that. Doing this, you break the cycle one by one. It takes time and a little discipline from your side, but it works
Those negative voices you hear aren't your voices and you don't have to listen to them.Practice pushing yourself beyond the negative voices and Take up space .Do the exact opposite
Most people don't fail because they're not capable -they fail because they're trapped in old habits
I think it's beneficial to write down a schedule of productive things we want to do each day For example ,I'll get up at a certain time and spend time with God then eat and have some coffee ,an exercise habit ,etc ,and check off the things we have done .
Habits define who we become ,it might look small at first like doing something mindful daily, but it's a beautiful journey to see how it actually shapes your personality and outlook in life . It's worth looking at a weekly routine that takes care of your body mind and soul
James Clear's Atomic Habits is a must read .He frames it clearly . Your habits emanate from your identity .Be intentional in the habits
Daily habits can be changed and it's fun to break a mundane routine. That's why I love traveling and living in different countries .I get mentally and emotionally rejuvenated and enjoy new challenges with adaptability and understanding.More 'wow 'moments every day. No time for wasting in trivials . Break the routine and boredom by embracing changes and differences.Life is still a great experience.
The subconscious generates all thoughts, decisions, and everything every imagined. What people call conscious will, originates within the subconscious. The subconscious is data processing. It has no awareness.
Success is no accident " You definitely need to know what you want to achieve and why you want to achieve It's important to program your mind to do so
Conclusion
When you are led around by your own creative ideas ,doors appear .Doors that nobody else sees . Choices emerged where nobody noticed before. It is the best way to live . Because your own ideas inform you about what is meaningful to you.
You are a co-creator in your own world It doesn't matter what anyone else says about you you're responsible for how you perceive not with your eyes but your heart.

This points to something profound identity can either become a ceiling or a doorway.
ReplyDeleteWhen people attach their worth to being naturally gifted, they often begin protecting the image of competence rather than building the capacity for growth.
They chase confirmation.
Avoid struggle.
Fear failure because failure feels like a threat to identity.
But growth asks for something very different:
Humility, Curiosity, and the nervous system capacity to stay open while feeling inadequate.
That last part matters.
Because many people don’t avoid challenge due to lack of talent they avoid the discomfort of feeling temporarily “not enough.”
From a LUOS foundation lens, growth is not just mindset it is somatic tolerance for being unfinished.
That is where transformation happens.
Fixed mindset asks:
“What does this say about me?”
Growth mindset asks:
“What is this teaching me?”
And perhaps the deepest wisdom is this:
Those who stop trying to be special
often become exceptional because they fall in love with becoming, not with appearing complete.
I think understanding these mindsets can really impact how we approach our goals, both personally and professionally . It's interesting to consider how adopting a growth mindset can encourage us to take more risks and learn from our experiences , While a fixed mindset might hold us back from trying new things.
DeleteEveryone is born with a positive bias… most lose it.
ReplyDeleteYes I agree
DeleteThe practical strategies here are gold. Especially the part about learning completely new skills that require lots of failure before success—guitar, dancing, juggling.
ReplyDeleteThat's such a good growth mindset trainer because you can't fake your way through. You have to embrace the awkward beginner phase. Most people avoid that discomfort entirely.
Your point about beliefs from parents holding us back resonates. Once you realize you're running on someone else's programming, you can start building your own system. That's freedom.
The 'cancel, cancel, cancel' technique for negative thoughts is simple but I can see how it works. Interrupt the pattern before it takes root.
From fixed to growth mindset isn't just theory—it's daily practice. Thanks for breaking it down so clearly. 💡
These days,I've been seeing my past failures in a positive light.Instead of feeling horrible about what I 've already done .I said to myself "it just shows how Cool of a person you are., you were not afraid to try , You're a brave one . you're a winner.
DeleteFor years, I believed that my success was limited by the hours in my day and the static nature of my skills. But I’ve realised that the ultimate expression of a growth mindset in 2026 isn't just about working harder; it’s about integrating AI as the core momentum of our lives. When I treat AI not as a cold machine but as a collaborative partner, my personal and professional fortunes transform. It scales my curiosity, automates my weaknesses, and acts as a springboard for my creativity. Embracing this technology is the foundation of modern striving—it is the bridge between having a vision and having the literal power to manifest it. By shifting my mindset to see AI as an essential tool for evolution, I am no longer just surviving; I am becoming exceptional.

DeleteThe biggest struggle is the struggle with the vain oneself. When we are in life-changing and life-defining situations we unlock the new ourselves.
ReplyDeleteThere is only one way to become the best version of yourself .Each and every tiny second of your day chooses to do something positive that leads you to become the best version of yourself . Each and every mile second we are presented with choices , choose the best one
DeleteThe biggest struggle a human has is the struggle against one self who is not motivated enough to make a substantial push forward so when we are exposed to a life-changing situations we unlock our new potentials and only then we discover how strong we are
ReplyDeleteSuch an important reminder — growth begins the moment we stop trying to prove ourselves and start trying to improve ourselves.
ReplyDeleteSuccess takes time and growth takes time . Normally people want to see the change ,the result within a very short time frame. We are not patient at all.Instead of doing 1% at a time ,we want to do too much. Later we cannot keep up with the momentum. We start feeling burn out

ReplyDeleteConsistent demands that you decided that you would do everything you decided to do day in day out until you get to your destination.
DeleteI agree, the way we think is powerful It can shape the reality around us and help us attract positive things in our life!
ReplyDeleteWe are what we pretend to be, so we must be careful about what we pretend to be.
Deletereally liked the part about how growth often starts when we stop seeing mistakes as proof of failure and start seeing them as part of learning. That shift is harder than people think, especially when certain fears or patterns come from childhood experiences. The reflection about habits and identity was also very true. Small routines really do shape the way we see ourselves over time. Thank you for sharing such an honest and thoughtful perspective. 💚
ReplyDeleteThe only place to go from failure is to fail again again and again and again and again and to keep on failing but with the caveat that you learn from this failure to make yourself better and that you just keep your head up and stay happy that's called success
